Dulaj, Ranmith shine, Ragama CC makes 258/8

Dulaj Bandara (73) and Ranmith Jayasena (72) engaged in a fifth wicket rescue partnership after skipper Dellon Peiris winning the toss and electing to take first lease of the wicket to end day one at 258 for 8 against Moors SC in the Major Club Under 23 final played at R. Premadasa Stadium.

Bandara made 73 inclusive of five boundaries while Jayasena hit 72 with six boundaries and the pair rescued Ragama CC who was in a bad position of 69 for 4 with a valuable 93 stand for the fifth wicket which helped the side to bolster the score. The match will be continued today.
