OPPO unveils latest addition to ‘A series’ ...

OPPO in partnership with Abans unveils the latest addition to the A series family of smartphones, the OPPO A17 series.

The event took place on February 1 at Courtyard by Marriott Colombo and marks Abans’ recent appointment as the national distributor for Sri Lanka by OPPO.

The leading manufacturer of smart devices established its presence in the Sri Lankan market in 2015, offering a range of smartphones with innovative features and highend specifications. OPPO hopes to increase its presence in Sri Lanka, further solidifying its position as a top player in the Sri Lankan market.

The A17 series boasts advanced features such as a 50MP main camera, a longlasting battery, and Coloros 12.1 operating system, and is now available exclusively at Abans.

It inherits OPPO’S Ultraslim Retro Design, featuring a flat-edged middle frame and smoothed edges for a sleek and premium appearance. The phone is available in Lake Blue and Midnight Black colour finishes and sports a genuine leather look and feel. Weighing approximately 189 g with a thickness of around 8.29 mm, the A17 series is easier to carry and operate.

In addition to the 50 PM main camera, A17comes with a 5MP

front camera, advanced imaging features such as 360° Fill Light, Portrait Retouching, HDR, and more. The phone is also equipped with a long-lasting 5000mah battery, with features such as Super Power Saving Mode and Super Night-time Standby to maximise battery life.

The A17 series is powered by a Mediatek Helio G35 Mobile Platform and performs efficiently with a CPU speed of up to 2.3 GHZ. It supports RAM expansion

of up to 4GB and SD card expansion of up to 1TB.

The OPPO A17 series also features OPPO’S Coloros 12.1, with convenient features such as Three-finger Translate with Google Lens, which quickly translates text in a screenshot into over 100 supported languages, Flexdrop for effective multitasking, and Five-grade Access Control and Photo Information Protection for security.
