Satyagraha against Independence Day celebrations

A Satyagraha was performed by several groups to oppose what they called lavish spending to mark the 75th anniversary of Sri Lanka’s independence. The Satyagraha which began at Maradana in front of Elphinstone Theatre yesterday is expected to go on till today continuously. Here is a scene of the Satyagraha.
