Dhammissara NS in four Volleyball finals today and tomorrow

Dhammissara National School, Nattandiya qualified for four age group finals of the 2022 DSI Supersports Schools Volleyball Championship, conducted by the Sri Lanka Volleyball Federation (SLVB) and Sri Lanka Schools Volleyball Association (SLSVA).

The finals of the DSI Supersports Schools Volleyball Championships will be held on December 3 and 4 at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium in Colombo.

The tournament was conducted in the categories of Under-11, Under13, Under-15, Under-17 and Under19 for both Boys’ and Girls’.

The tournament has been sponsored by DSI since 1998 and this year’s event is held after a lapse of three years due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Nearly 5,000 schools participated in this tournament, which was conducted in three stages.

The Dhammissara National

School qualified to play in the Boys’ and Girls’ Under-11 and Under-13 Tournament finals. In addition, Nattandiya National School qualified to play in the Boys’ Under-11, Under-13 and Under-15 finals while Vijayaba National School, Hungama made it to the finals of the Girls’ Under-13, Under-15 and Under-17 Tournaments and Tissapura MV, Uhana qualified to play in the Girls’ Under-15, Under-17 and Under-19 Tournament finals.

The Under-11, Under-13 and Under-15 Tournaments finals will be played on December 3 while the Under-17 and Under-19 Tournament finals will be played on December 4.
