HNBA Group holds Annual Staff Conference

HNB Assurance PLC (HNBA) and its fully-owned subsidiary HNB General Insurance Ltd (HNBGI) recently held its Annual Staff Conference with much pomp and pageantry at Monarch Imperial, Colombo to recognise the unwavering efforts of its employees’ contribution throughout the year

2020 and 2021.

This occasion was graced by HNBA and HNBGI Chairperson Rose Cooray as the chief guest together with HNBA chief executive officer, HNBGI chief executive officer, members of the board of directors of HNBA and HNBGI and other distinguished guests.

Recognition is made real for victors when given a trophy to hold and admire. Therefore, the prestigious Chairman’s awards and Special Awards for Excellence in Lean Six Sigma

Project Implementation were the major awards of the night. HNBA and HNBGI CEO’S presentations highlighted on the company’s performance and the way forward for the coming years whilst appreciating the individual and team achievements, it ended with a mix of glamor and entertainment followed by an afterparty with the band Marians in attendance.

Speaking at the event, Cooray stated, “Employees are one key strength of HNBA and HNBGI and tonight’s event in all its grandeur is a befitting tribute to recognise all our talented staff members.”

Highlighting not only the performance of both companies, she reassured the gathering of the board’s commitment to HNBA group in continually enhancing the quality of life of each and every staff member.
