SL Belgian Assn. makes donation for water treatment centre in Polonnaruwa

The Sri Lanka Belgium Association has started work to establish a water treatment centre (R O plant) in Medirigiriya, Wadigawewa, Kadurugaswewa, a remote village with a large number of patients suffering from unidentified kidney disease in Polonnaruwa District.the entire cost for this work is borne by the Adapte Sri Lanka in Belgium. For this purpose, an advance cheque of Rs. 1,500,000 was handed over to an official of ABC Trade & Investment Company on November 24, 2022, by Mr. Dayasiri Fernando, President of the Belgian Association on behalf of Kadurugaswewa,

Rantharu Women’s Association. Several committee members of the Sri Lanka Belgian Association participated in this event with the villagers, including Kadurugaswewa Grama Niladhari and Samurdhi Officers.
