BACK HOME

It’s good to have Yamuna back in town after a visit to the UK for her granddaughter’s graduation from Warwick University. I missed her while she was away as she is a good friend, an extremely helpful and kind neighbour who I am fortunate to have close by, especially now in the world of uncertainty and anxiety that is ours today. She was glad to find things better here than when she left early last month, and to be able to get petrol, gas and so on without a queue. She never fails to bring me my favourite Cadbury’s milk chocolate. The UK product is by far the best. When I was young, my parents knew one of the Cadbury’s the late George and he used to send us lots of these chocolates often. My mind flies back to those times, which were so much fun with no problems and a much more relaxed, genteel way of life.
