Easy win for Colombo South

Colombo South beat Colombo North by nine wickets in their

Under 19 Super Provincial Cricket Tournament 2022 finals concluded at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium recently.

Out of the five teams Colombo South and Colombo North reached the final encounter and the players will be reduced from 65 for the final training camp which will take place in Dambulla shortly.

Chinthaka Edirimanne, the former Royal cricketer and Head of Domestic Cricket (SLC) and Janaka Pathirana (Exco SLC) gave away the awards.

Colombo North 90 in 30.1 overs (Mineth Karunarahne 17, Vinuja Ranpul 12; Canniston Gunerathnam 5 for 14, Danal Hemananda 4 for 25)

Colombo South 91 for 1 in 11.5 overs (Sineth Jayawardena 40 not out, Sadeesha Rajapakse 37, Tharindu Amarasinghe 14 not out)
