BOI, PORT CITY AND FIVE INSTITUTIONS UNDER DHAMMIKA

Seven Departments, Statutory Institutions and Public Corporations including the Board of Investment of Sri Lanka, Colombo Port City Economic Commission were gazetted under Dhammika Perera who was sworn in as the Investment Promotion Minister.

An extraordinary gazette notification has been issued detailing the institutional and legal framework of the Investment Promotion Minister on June 27. Accordingly, the Board of Investment of Sri Lanka, Colombo Port City Economic Commission, Projects related to Colombo Port

City, Department of Immigration and Emigration, Colombo Lotus Tower Management Company (Pvt.) Limited, Techno Park Development Company (Pvt) Ltd and Information Technology Parks will function under the Investment Promotion Ministry.

President Gotabaya Rajapaksa apppointed businessman Dhammika Perera as the Minister of Investment Promotion on June 24, 2022.
