Tea Chief Molligoda resigns from BOC board

Jayampathy Molligoda has resigned from the director board of state-owned Bank of Ceylon (BOC), with effect from January 31, 2022. Molligoda was appointed to the BOC board as a Nonexecutive Director in February, last year.

He currently serves as Chairman of the Sri Lanka Tea Board (SLTB).

Following Molligoda’s resignation, the BOC board comprises of Kanchana Ratwatte (Chairman), R.M.P. Rathnayake, G. Harsha Wijayawardhana, Anura Christopher Manilka Fernando and Major General (Rtd.) G.A. Chandrasiri.
