Global Housing and Real Estate (Pvt) Ltd (GHR) has taken upon itself to make a sustainable pledge to help preserve the planet through the `GHR Green Pledge’; to help reforest the planet and negate the environment change for a more sustainable living.

GHR, which is a dominant player in the hotel residency development sector in Sri Lanka has pledged to plant 5 trees per apartment constructed, further strengthening the company`s commitment to the company`s business ethos of being mindful of `People, Planet and Profit’.

“With this new initiative focusing on combatting environment pollution, we look forward to transforming ourselves further, into a `Triple Bottom Line’ principle organization,” said Dasun Wickramarathne, Chairman and Managing Director of Global Group of Companies

In conjunction to the tree planting campaign, a Seth Pirith chanting with an almsgiving was organized at `The Kingdom-sigiriya’ by GHR. The Kingdom-sigiriya consist of 108 units caters to those who appreciate the finer things in life and we offer prospective holidaymakers a unique approach to having a holiday home, or to generate a revenue which is generated by GHR by managing such property on behalf of the client.
