St. Sebastian’s and Sangamitta clinch U19 shuttle titles

St. Sebastian’s College Moratuwa and Sangamitta BMV Galle, clinched the Boys’ and Girls’ Super ‘A’ Division titles respectively at the Under-19 Inter-schools Badminton Team Championships held at the Royal College Sports Complex and D. S. Senanayake College Indoor Stadium in Colombo.

This All-island Tournament was organised by the Sri Lanka Schools Badminton Association (SLSBA) with the participation of 84 schools under five divisions.

Meanwhile, the ‘A’ Division titles were won by St. Anthony’s

College, Kandy ‘A’ Team and Visakha Vidyalaya, Colombo while Lumbini College, Colombo and Maliyadeva BMV, Kurunegala, clinched the ‘B’ Division titles.

Wesley College and Holy Family Convent, Kurunegala won the ‘C’ Division titles.

Lalith Athulathmudali MC, Mount Lavinia won the ‘D’

Division Boys’ Championship while Rathnawali BMV, Gampaha, clinched the Girls’ title.

Sri Lanka Badminton (SLB) President Rohan De Silva graced the final day’s prize distribution ceremony as the Chief Guest.
