National Anthem and the National Cricket Team

At the recently held Asian Cricket Championship Tournament it was observed that some of our team members as well as officials were waving at the crowd while singing the National Anthem they themselves when the National Anthem was being played officially. It was a pity to note that the team members and especially even the officials have not being disciplined how to conduct themselves when a country’s National Anthem is being played. It applies to the Anthem of the opposing country as well. Teams of other countries participated paid strict attention to their Anthem as well as the Anthems of other countries. Reverence for the national anthem is taught at the commencement of junior school. Cricket Board officials are responsible.
