Fools play where Angels fear to tread!

The present ghost issue saddled with the government is the chemical fertilizer cry from all over the country.the government is out to do without chemical fertilizers and has announced this effort to the world and received applauses. Of course it is absolutely the need of the hour. We have learnt in the past how an honourable and honest Prime Minister got thrown out of office for banning imports and attempting to make the country self sufficient!

One may argue that if that attempt had continued even with difficulties, we would have achieved a lot,this is arguable.the health authorities all over the world keep on making improvements in world health and this prevented early deaths, and as a result, the world population keeps on growing, especially the aged population.

The basic need for the increasing mouths all over the world is undoubtedly food.to achieve this goal, chemical fertilizers became popular and got their due place.the Covid pandemic is of course was an unforeseen event drawn into this predicament.we remember how chemical fertilizers were imported using state funds and distributing free by past governments for reasons best known to them. Hats off to the Agriculture Department Dons and the staff who cried that unwanted quantities of chemicals applied to the soil would create chaos, and other health hazards to the consumers, but no one cared to listen to them. Now the question that left to be answered is, who created this stinking ghost which will have very many repercussions in the coming days such as shortage of food and poverty amongst the farmers.
