Chilaw Marians CC Ladies record big win

Chilaw Marians CC Ladies recorded a big win by 131 runs against Colts CC Ladies CC in the ongoing Women’s Invitational Limited Over Tournament encounter played at the Surrey Village ground in Maggona. Chilaw Marians CC Ladies took first lease of the wicket and made a score of 217, with Manudi Nanayakkara making a top score of 50. Colts CC Ladies, in reply, was able to muster a score of only 86 runs. In the other matches that were played, Tamil Union Ladies, along with CCC Ladies, Badureliya CC Ladies, and Navy SC Ladies, came out victorious. The tournament conducted by Sri Lanka Cricket, apart from Sri Lanka Women team skipper Chamari Athapaththu, is being represented by the other Sri Lanka Women cricketers for the 15 clubs that are divided into two groups.
