Rohitha Bogollagama to assume duties as Sri Lanka’s High Commissioner today

Sri Lanka’s High Commissioner-designate to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland will assume duties on Monday (November 20) alongside religious observances. Bogollagama emphasized the importance of working closely with UK’S Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office to strengthen ties between Sri Lanka and the United Kingdom. He further stressed on the need for closer interaction and the engagement of the Sri Lanka Diaspora belonging to all communities as means of amplifying the synergies of Sri Lanka’s bilateral ties with the United Kingdom.
